BATON ROUGE, La. — The Ascension Parish School Board will receive nearly $6.1 million for permanent school repairs following the August 2016 floods. Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid (TRLA) has sent attorneys and paralegals to all four DRCs to assist low-income survivors with multiple flood-related legal problems.
