For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180W:
1. An area of disturbed weather is forecast to form near or west
of the border between the National Hurricane Center and Central
Pacific Hurricane Center areas of responsibility, or about 1200
miles east-southeast of Hilo. Some subsequent gradual development
of this system is possible later this week while the system moves
slowly westward in the central Pacific basin.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent.
Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected during the next 5 days.
