LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Arkansas residents living in counties near the Missouri border may visit a state/FEMA Disaster Recovery Center in Missouri to get help registering for disaster assistance for storm damage occurring between April 26 and May 19.
Recovery centers are operating in Washington, Randolph and Lawrence counties in Arkansas, but residents of Benton, Carroll, Boone, Fulton, Randolph and Clay counties may live closer to Carter, Howell, Oregon, Ozark or Stone counties in Missouri.

Disaster Recovery Centers are staffed with representatives from the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management, FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration. Survivors can get help applying for federal assistance, learn about the types of assistance available, learn about the appeals process and get updates on applications. FEMA works closely with state, federal, faith-based and voluntary agencies to help match survivors who have remaining needs with other sources of assistance.
