Tropical Activity:

  • Atlantic – Tropical Depression Harvey; Tropical Storm Irma; Disturbance 1 – Low (20%)
  • Eastern Pacific – Tropical Storm Lidia
  • Central Pacific – No tropical cyclones expected next 48 hours
  • Western Pacific – No activity affecting U.S. interests

Significant Weather: 

  • Severe thunderstorms possible – Lower Mississippi and Tennessee valleys to Southeast
  • Flash flooding possible – Lower Mississippi and Ohio valleys to Mid-Atlantic and Southeast
  • Elevated fire weather – MT
  • Isolated dry thunderstorms – Northern Intermountain to Northern Plains, and Northern Rockies
