For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:
1. An area of low pressure is expected to form over the far eastern
North Pacific in a day or two. Environmental conditions are
forecast to be generally conducive for additional development for a
couple of days thereafter as the system moves west-northwestward to
northwestward near the coast of Central America and southeastern
Mexico.

* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...40 percent.
