Significant Events: Wildfire activity

Tropical Activity:

  • Atlantic – Tropical cyclone activity not expected during the next 48 hours
  • Eastern Pacific – Tropical Storm Gilma; Tropical Depression Nine-E; Disturbance 1 – Low (20%)
  • Central Pacific – Tropical Depression Nine-E still in Eastern Pacific but will move into Central Pacific late today
  • Western Pacific – No activity affecting U.S. interests

Significant Weather:

  • Severe thunderstorms possible – Central and Southern Plains; Mid-Atlantic
  • Flash flooding possible – Central Plains and Mid-Atlantic
  • Elevated Fire weather – Central CA, ID & WY
  • Isolated dry thunderstorms – WA, ID & MT
  • Red Flag Warnings – OR, CA, and WY
