ZCZC MIATWOEP ALL TTAA00 KNHC DDHHMM Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 AM PDT Mon Oct 15 2018 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on recently upgraded Tropical Storm Tara, located just off the coast of southwestern Mexico. 1. An area of low pressure is forecast to develop a couple of hundred miles south of Guatemala and the southeastern coast of Mexico around mid-week. Environmental conditions are forecast to be conducive for development, and a tropical depression is likely to form by late week while the system moves west-northwestward near the southern coast of Mexico. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...70 percent.
