Tropical Activity:

  • Atlantic – Subtropical Storm Oscar
  • Eastern Pacific – Disturbance 1: Low (40%)
  • Central Pacific – No new tropical cyclones expected during the next five days
  • Western Pacific –Typhoon Yutu

Significant Weather:

  • Severe thunderstorms possible – coastal Carolinas
  • Gusty winds, coastal flooding, heavy rain and freezing rain possible – Mid-Atlantic/Northeast
  • Heavy rainfall – coastal Mid-Atlantic

Declaration Activity:

  • Major Disaster Declaration approved – Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (Typhoon Yutu)
