Significant Events: Tropical Cyclone Yutu Response

Tropical Activity:

  • Atlantic – No new tropical cyclones are expected during the next 5 days
  • Eastern Pacific – Tropical Storm Xavier; Disturbance 1 – Low (20%)
  • Central Pacific – Disturbance 1 – Low (10%)
  • Western Pacific – No activity affecting U.S. interests

Significant Weather:

  • Heavy snow possible - Northern and Central Rockies
  • Widespread rain and snow expected - Pacific Northwest, Plains, Midwest, Upper Mississippi Valley, and Great Lakes
  • Red Flag Warning - portions of CA
