This clip is from the DoD Fire Academy's Urban Search and Rescue course (also know as Rescue II). The concept of the course is to teach methods of urban search and rescue, trench collapse stabilization, building collapse stabilization, and how to safely locate and remove any victims that may be trapped inside the wreckage. Think Oklahoma City Bombing or 9/11 type scenarios on the large scale and general rescue for events in a fire departments jurisdiction.
