AUSTIN, Texas — The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded more than $1 million to Montgomery County Drainage District #6 for repairs to the Spring Creek area following Hurricane Harvey.Flooding in Montgomery County forced water backward and caused Spring Creek to flood. This caused the walls of the drainage channels into Spring Creek to collapse.The total cost of the repairs exceeded $1.1 million.
