AUSTIN, Texas – The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded more than $1.4 million to Bay City, Texas, to purchase four fixed and two portable generators. The generators will provide the backup electrical supply at critical facilities in the city. The fixed units will be used by several city departments including the waste water treatment plant, water plant, sewer lift station and the municipal airport.
