For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:
1. Showers and thunderstorms continue to show signs of organization in
association with an area of low pressure located about 350 miles
south of Acapulco, Mexico. Environmental conditions are expected to
be conducive for development during the next few days, and a
tropical depression will likely form by Monday while the system
moves west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph.
