A broad area of low pressure located about 450 miles southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, is producing gusty winds to the northeast of the center. Although the associated shower activity has increased since yesterday, it remains disorganized due to strong upper-level winds. These unfavorable winds are expected to continue affecting the low during the next day or two while the system moves slowly north-northeastward.
