For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180W:
The National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida, is issuing
advisories on Hurricane Linda, located nearly 1565 miles east of
Hilo, Hawaii. The latest forecast indicates that Linda will move
into the Central Pacific Hurricane Center's area of responsibility
as a weakening tropical storm as early as Thursday afternoon.
Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected during the next 5
days.
