Central East Pacific: A broad area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms is located several hundred miles south of the southern tip of Baja California. Some slow development of this system is possible over the next day or so while it moves generally west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph. By this weekend, conditions are expected to become unfavorable for further development. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent. * Formation chance through 7 days...low...20 percent. 2. Eastern East Pacific: An area of low pressure could form by this weekend several hundred miles south of the southern coast of Mexico.
