ZCZC MIATWOEP ALL TTAA00 KNHC DDHHMM Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 AM PDT Wed Jun 28 2023 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: Active Systems: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Adrian, located a few hundred miles off the coast of southwestern Mexico. 1. South of Southern Mexico and Central America (EP92): Showers and thunderstorms are beginning to show signs of organization in association with a broad area of low pressure located a few hundred miles south of the coasts of Guatemala and southern Mexico. Continued development of this system is expected, and a tropical depression is likely to form during the next couple of days while it moves west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph, roughly parallel to the southern and southwestern coasts of Mexico. Interests along the southwestern coast of Mexico should monitor the progress of this system during the next several days. * Formation chance through 48 hours...high...70 percent. * Formation chance through 7 days...high...90 percent.
