For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180W:
Active Systems:
The Central Pacific Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on
Tropical Storm Greg, located around 1050 miles southeast of
Honolulu, Hawaii. Greg is currently moving on a westward track, and
a gradual turn toward the west-northwest is expected over the next
couple of days. Greg will pass well south of the Hawaiian Islands
on a high confidence track from Wednesday through Thursday.
The National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida is issuing
advisories on Hurricane Fernanda, located about 2250 miles east of
Hilo, Hawaii. A general west to west-northwest motion is expected
to continue with some increase in forward speed over the next few
days. Fernanda is expected to weaken and become post tropical on
Thursday.
Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected during the next 7 days.
