For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:
1. An area of low pressure is expected to develop a few hundred miles
south of the southern tip of Baja California during the next couple
of days. Environmental conditions appear conducive for gradual
development of this system thereafter while it moves northward or
northwestward.
