Shower activity associated with an elongated area of low pressure located about 1200 miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula continues to show some signs of organization. Environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for gradual development of this system during the next several days while it drifts eastward, and then turns northward later in the week. * Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...50 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...medium...60 percent 2.
