A broad non-tropical area of low pressure located a little more than 600 miles south-southeast of Cape Race, Newfoundland, continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions are forecast to become a little more conducive for some tropical or subtropical development by Wednesday.
