For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Flossie, located more than a thousand miles east of the
Hawaiian Islands.
1. Showers and thunderstorms associated with a broad area of low
pressure located about 900 miles south-southwest of the southern tip
of the Baja California peninsula remain disorganized. Upper-level
winds are expected to be marginally conducive for development only
during the next day or two while the low moves west-northwestward at
about 10 mph.
