Flood Recovery Reaches Milestone: 1,001 Households Transition into Long-Term

BATON ROUGE, La. — More than 1,000 households have made strides in their recovery and moved out of FEMA Manufactured Housing Units (MHUs) to more permanent housing. BATON ROUGE, La. — The Department of Public Safety (Louisiana State Police) will receive $1.8 million in federal assistance for emergency protective measures taken to ensure the public’s safety following the August 2016 floods.
